About Us
In 2001, a group of passionate Tango aficionados in Brisbane, Australia, came together with a noble purpose - to hold an elegant Tango ball and support families affected by the Argentine currency crisis, who were facing dire economic hardship. With Tango being deeply rooted in Latin America, it felt like the right way to give back to the culture we love – dancing the Tango.
Since then, Sociedad Para Los Niños has been hosting annual dance events in Brisbane, Sydney, and across Australia, even expanding to international cities. Our mission is clear: to raise funds for children in Argentina and various parts of Latin America.
